It hasn't been smooth sailing on the "Country Crusing" trip for Trace Adkins. A promising trip that began with him set as the headliner for the cruise, has ended abruptly with Adkins dropping anchor in rehab. A rep for Adkins has confirmed to E! News that he "has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism." The statement added, "As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family's privacy will be respected."
What went down? No one’s exactly sure. What we do know is that Trace brawled with an impersonator on the ship this past Monday. As the story goes, the two met up in the bar, where the fake Trace was singing karaoke. What sparked the fight is anyone’s guess, but it coincided with the end of Adkins' 12 years of sobriety.
