This is two of our children, who are serving in the US Navy. Emily is an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling), who just returned from an eight month deployment on the aircraft carrier USS John C Stennis. They were supporting Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Her job was to tow the fighter jets from the hangar bay to the elevator on the carrier that would lift them to the flight deck. She loves her job and hopes they go ‘on cruise’ again soon! Daniel is currently attending the US Naval Academy and will graduate in May 2008. His service selection is Submarines and after attending Nuclear Power School...who knows?...he might be stationed on the new USS New Mexico!
We are very proud that our children made the decision to serve in defense of our country and the support and best wishes from everyone is tremendous!
