~~Rascal Flatts and actress Hayden Panettiere will host the third annual CMT Artists of the Year special premiering Dec. 8 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. (Hayden stars in ABC's "Nashville".)
The 90-minute special celebrates the class of 2012 with performances and special appearances from others in the entertainment field. For the first time ever, CMT is keeping the list of honorees top secret until they are revealed on the night of the telecast.

~~ Jason Aldean will kick off the first leg of his 2013 Night Train Tour in Bossier City, LA Feb. 21. In addition to previously announced and subsequently sold out stadium shows, the tour will hit 23 cities and features Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett in support.
~~OFFICIALLY: Carrie Underwood will be performing at the American Music Awards, on November 18.
Carrie, along with pop star Pink and rapper Pitbull, will join the lineup of already announced performers that includes Taylor Swift, singer and ‘American Idol' judge Nicki Minaj, rock band Linkin Park and pop star/'The Voice' coach Christina Aguilera.

Faith says, "They are about four months old." and she's "getting used to them."
Faith is also being a good role model for her daughters with her new addition. The mom revealed that Gracie (her oldest daughter with Tim McGraw) and Maggie (their middle daughter) both have braces.

~~Big & Rich will be presented the Country Radio Broadcasters' CRS 2013 Artist Humanitarian Award on Feb. 27 during the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. The duo will be honored for their humanitarian efforts that range from visiting individual patients in hospitals to staging benefit concerts for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the 173rd Airborne Memorial Fund.
They've also been involved in efforts to help underprivileged children and families in Uganda, Sudan, Haiti and Kenya and support numerous other charities, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Project Clean Water, the Special Olympics, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Nashville Symphony.
The Country Radio Seminar is a gathering of radio programmers and executives, and takes place Feb. 27-March 1.
