CARRIE UNDERWOOD DONATES CONCERT PROCEEDS TO ATLANTIC CITY

Carrie Underwood performed at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. on Friday night and announced that she would be donating all profits and proceeds from the evening's show to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The superstorm battered the famous New Jersey coastline, as well as a good portion of the East Coast, nearly two weeks ago. Carrie said she wanted to give back to the community and even made multiple references to the storm and the shore during her performance.

Carrie has been donating $1 of every ticket sold to Red Cross efforts since September. She was so overwhelmed by the devastation from last week's hurricane, that she promised to put her profits "right back into the community here."

Carrie said:  "I wouldn't feel right making any money off of tonight's show."

Watch a video of Carrie performing "Temporary Home," along with a speech about how she and her band are committed to giving back on the "Blown Away" tour.
