GARTH BUZZ: PLANNING 2014 WORLD TOUR

Garth Brooks is planning a world tour near the fall of 2014, his first in 16 years.
 
Garth ended a three-year, 180-show run Saturday night at Wynn Las Vegas.  His last world tour was in November 1998. He announced his retirement in 2000, saying he would not return until the last of his three daughters are out of high school. His youngest is scheduled to graduate in May 2014.
 

NOTE: Garth will return to Wynn Las Vegas.  This winter, he will return for a "Live From the Wynn" special of the one-man show he's been doing.

And yes, Garth will keep the private jet that Wynn added as an enticement to draw the country icon out of retirement.

Wynn said, "He gets the plane. He did what he was supposed to do. We're square".
