Canada's Shania Twain Center, located in her hometown of Timmins, may be shut down due to slow ticket sales.
The City Council is considering what to do with the tourist attraction shrine to the Shania, which opened in 2001. One option is to sell it.
The center and a related gold-mine tour costs Timmins taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars every year.
Shania moved most her memorabilia out of her namesake center last summer (because it was not attracting enough visitors to make it economically viable).
