PRESIDENT OBAMA WILL PUSH FOR AN ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN
The White House confirmed yesterday that the President will throw his weight behind passing an assault weapons ban when he unveils his gun plan today.
Obama may be up against members of his own party. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has already said that he doesn't think an assault weapons ban can pass and that he wouldn't bring it up for a vote.
Regardless, Obama will unveil his gun violence proposals this morning with Joe Biden.
