COUNTRY QUICKIES: 1/17/13
~~Lady Antebellum will team with Stevie Nicks for an upcoming episode of the CMT series Crossroads. The show will be filmed on a soundstage in Los Angeles and is scheduled to air later this year.
~~ "The X Factor"'s season two winner Tate Stevens has signed a recording contract with Syco Music/RCA Nashville. Stevens is working on his debut album set for a spring release.
~~Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris will appear at an All for the Hall concert in New York City on Feb. 26. The event will raise funds for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
The concert will be held as a "guitar pull," with artists taking turns playing their songs. Special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
~~Kenny Chesney has teamed up with Music and Memory, a non-profit organization that brings personalized music players to seniors suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia. Music has been found to be therapeutic for those suffering from the disease, leading to improved social engagement and quality of life.
As part of his partnership, Kenny recorded a PSA for the organization.
