~~Taylor Swift is partnering with Diet Coke, starring in an ad campaign for the soft drink. In turn, Diet Coke will have some sponsorship roles in her upcoming tour.
~~"Modern Family's" Ariel Winter (aka Alex) put her spin on Taylor Swift‘s tune, "Trouble."
~~Jake Owen surprised his father with a visit after Papa Bear Owen had cancer surgery.
Jake captioned the photo as follows: "Surprised my Dad today at Mayo Clinic in MN.. He had cancer surgery on his neck. Doing great.. My love to all that have dealt with Cancer."

~~Randy Travis is seeking treatment for his alcohol problem.
Last year, Randy was busted a naked DWI, and has since given up alcohol for good.
Randy's lawyer, Larry Friedman says Randy's health is on the upswing, but he still wants to get professional help so he can maintain his booze-free path to sobriety.
Randy will continue recording as he goes through treatment and plans on releasing two albums by the end of the year.
~~ Kris Kristofferson awarded Willie Nelson with the first Kris Kristofferson Award, the Nashville Songwriters Association International's new lifetime achievement award. Then the two played together Sunday night at The Bluebird Cafe.
The pair teamed on hits like "Crazy" and "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down" during an invitation-only gathering at the venue known as a songwriter's showcase.
~~George Jones is preparing to go out on his his last "The Grand Tour," which kicks off on February 2nd in Tunica, MS. Before he goes into retirement, the legend wants to record a final album to coincide with this tour. Several of the tunes on this album will be written from noneother than Dolly Parton.
George tells Billboard: "I love Dolly, always have, and I am so honored to be doing a project with her. She's writing most of the songs and we all know what a great songwriter she is. I am just waiting for her to tell me what to sing and when to sing it!"
Although Jones has no regrets about this decision to go into retirement also says, "I would like to be remembered as a singer who stayed true to country music and did it my way."

~~Singer/sonwriter Brandon Fulson is not to happy about Blake Shelton's recent comments on traditional country music. The 32 year old Tennessee native even wrote a song about it.
Blake Shelton made a comment on GAC's backstory about how no one wants to listen to their Grandpa's music. He referred to traditional country music lovers old farts & jackasses.
Brandon agrees that country music should evolve but thinks Blake's comment was sour.
