~~Craig Morgan, Shane Minor and Phil O'Donnell will perform as a part of the CMA Songwriters Series at Joe's Pub in New York City March 19. The evening will be hosted by Bob DiPiero. Ronnie Milsap and Lorrie Morgan will join DiPiero for another stop at the Library Of Congress in Washington, D.C. March 20.
The series has shows in the works for Boston, Chicago, Austin and Nashville, as well.

~~ Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert were the welcome guests of Ray Price Thursday night at the country legend's show in Durant, Okla. The country couple met with Ray backstage and posed for photos prior to Ray's performance at the Choctaw Casino Resort. Later, Ray brought Blake onstage and introduced him to the audience.
Ray recently accepted Blake Shelton's apology for the comments he made about traditional country music on an installment of GAC's Backstory.

~~This Saturday night, (Feb. 9), CBS will air an hour-long special, featuring a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how Whitney Houston's death affected the Grammy Awards in 2012. ‘The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family," will include interviews with Taylor Swift, LL Cool J, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, and many other celebrity artists.
Last year, the Grammy producers learned of Houston's passing less than 24 hours before the ceremony. In this special, you'll hear more about the mad scramble to revamp the show and pay tribute to the unforgettable star during the broadcast.
